Gifts to the Annual Fund
Maintaining the Excellence
Gifts to the Annual Fund provide unrestricted operating support for Iona Prep. Annual Fund gifts allow us to provide students with state-of-the-art computer and audio/visual technology; increase scholarship and financial aid; attract and retain top-notch faculty; enhance athletic and extracurricular programs and maintain and improve our physical plant.
Annual Fund Gift Clubs
The success of the Annual Fund depends on the generosity of those who care about Iona Prep. Each gift - no matter the size - is important and makes a difference. We invite you to consider membership in one of the following gift clubs.
The President's Council - $1,000 - or more
The President's Council was established to recognize the important role that leadership level support plays in the success of the Annual Fund. Membership in the President's Council is open to all that make a gift in one of six gift categories.

- Waterford Society: $250 - $499 - Honors the rich traditions of Iona Prep and the Congregation of Christian Brothers.
- Century Club: $100 - $249 - Creates a strong foundation for our success.
- Loyalty Club: $1 - $99 - Represents and investment in the future of Iona Prep.
Each and every gift is important and makes a difference. All gifts to the Annual Fund are credited to the contributor and will be recognized in the school's Annual Report that is published each year in the fall.
Methods of Giving
Cash Gifts
The easiest and most direct way to help Iona Prep is to make a gift of cash or check to the Annual Fund.
Pledges
Through a series of pledge payments, many find they are able to increase their level of support to Iona Prep. Pledges can be made on a schedule chosen by you, with payment to be completed prior to the close of the Annual Fund year.
Matching Gifts
Many participating companies will match the number of dollars given to Iona Prep by their employees, spouses and/or retirees. Donors receive credit for both the original gift and the amount of the match.
Honors and Memorial Gifts
You may make a gift in honor or in memory of a family member, classmate, teacher, loved one, or other member of the Iona community.
Gift of Securities
Individuals will find significant tax advantages in making their annual fund gift in the form of appreciated securities. If you would like more information or desire to arrange a gift of securities, please contact the Advancement Office. Our Broker and Stock Information are as follows:

Planned Gifts
Individuals may consider making a gift in their will and estate plans. By making a planned gift, donors can provide themselves and their heirs with significant estate tax savings while making a substantial gift to Iona Prep. There are many different types of planned gifts that can benefit both the donor and Iona Prep. Annunities, trusts, bequests and life insurance are examples of planned gifts.
